As a family-owned and locally rooted company, we take responsibility for supporting local employment. We will also translate this approach to our other sites, at home and abroad. In doing so, we consciously pay attention to diverse and inclusive jobs and the realisation of economic value. This results in a lasting bond with the community.

Positive growth of the number of employees
H.Essers intends to achieve a positive growth of the number of employees every year, either organically or through acquisitions.
H.Essers Valley, anchoring our centre of operations in Genk
In early 2019, as a logistics service provider, we presented an ambitious master plan for our home base in Genk. Spread across various phases and sites, we will further develop Genk into a multimodal hub. With H.Essers Valley we are anchoring our company more solidly in Limburg and Flanders.
Global, yet local
We also make a firm choice towards local anchoring on our sites outside of Belgium. Although we are a global player, with customers and suppliers all over the world, we are strongly committed to being a reliable and local employer. The development of our activities in Romania is a good example of this.
